Not all of a photographer's time can be spent out in the field, sad to say.  Right now I'm holed up, incommunicado, trying to put the finishing touches on a book of my photography that will be published this Spring in Japan.  It's painstaking, cross-eye inducing, butt-aching work.  My immovable deadline is January 20, when I need to be on a plane to Tokyo carrying the most recent work to my publisher.

In the process of researching shoot dates and specific locations for some of the photographs in the book, I've had to do a lot of digging through the archives.  I discovered some interesting images that I enjoyed seeing again.  These have never been published or exhibited in any form, so I'd like to share a few of them with you.

I'm currently in Tokyo working on the book and collateral materials.  I'll be back in Hawaii by the end of the month.

Fujiyama
An hour later it started snowing in Nagoya.  I think snow is following me around the globe.  Catch up time for living in Hawaii?
